Former design director helping teams plan, execute, and ship high quality digital experiences
Dave's been busy lately, working on reshaping spending management at Brex. Before that, he helped new tech startups launch their initial digital products. He's teamed up with some interesting groups, like the team at Google Area 120. Together, they envisioned the future of AI fitness and enterprise tools, as well as apps for Google Jacquard. Additionally, he's worked on augmented reality concepts for Lay’s and revamped Olive's website. Olive is a digital health company using AI to enhance hospital operations.
Driven by the
excitement of
quality & rigor
Before his current role, Dave enjoyed working with top design agencies like R/GA, Huge, Fantasy, Instrument, and Ueno. There, he crafted major digital experiences for big names like Nike.com, NikeiD, Nike Pro Services, NikeSB, GOLFTV, Marriott Bonvoy, Meta, and Venmo.
A significant chunk of his career was at Method NY in the role of ACD. There, he honed his strategic design skills, collaborating with a stellar team to revamp McDonald's digital presence. Not only did he spearhead the in restaurant digital kiosk redesign, but he also played a part in the omni-channel experience, blending both digital and physical interactions across the customer's journey. On the side, he's enjoyed projects designing integrated digital experiences for commercial buildings, museums, and expo centers.
12+ Years, collaborating
to push boundaries
With over twelve years in the field, Dave has used user-centered design to influence brand, web, and digital product design. His emphasis on process and teamwork has allowed him to build a diverse portfolio, encompassing 3D art direction, design research, interaction design, and technology.
Exploring future products, services, and technologies is immensely rewarding, offering vast opportunities to bring new ideas to life. I've been able to partner and drive ideation sessions, crafting narrative-driven experiences for notable projects like Nike Football-Stadium Beacons, McDonald’s-Olympic Village, Brex-Future of Spend, ResMed-Quality of Sleep, Google’s AI Fitness platform, and The U.S. Navy.
Driving multi-channel experiences requires a cohesive global vision, channel-specific insights, and robust cross-functional communication. I was fortunate to work with McDonald’s on this front, enhancing the customer journey through design research and prototypes across various product life-cycles. I also teamed up with Clear x Delta to roll out their pilot service at both Newark and Dallas Airports. My work on streaming platforms and digital quick service restaurants has also aided in shaping tailored customer experiences.
I've always prioritized quality and polish in my work. Achieving realism through mockups, prototypes, and motion is essential for impactful presentations. I appreciate how motion experts, architects, and industrial designers focus on form, flow, choreography, and function to perfect outcomes. Using my expertise in 3D and traditional photography, I've enhanced the delivery of projects for the likes of Brex Card AR, Lay’s AR Farm, Pantone Connect, Pantone’s 2022 Color of the year, and Nike's Future Mobile Commerce app.
